Synopsis

Nothing Goes to Weather Like a Delivery Crew is the story of a nonstop Pacific crossing and the delivery of a 3 year old Hallberg Rassy 40′ sloop. Lance Gettler and his brother picked the boat up in Auckland and delivered it to Seattle over 6200 nm away. This exciting day to day story of gruelling but never boring life at sea includes photos and log entries of two brothers who spent 55 days together on a 40′ sailboat going to weather. One in a series of five books, “Nothing Goes to Weather…” allows you to see how one man took something he was passionate about and turned it into a lifetime adventure. For another of Lance Gettler’s adventures, enjoy Blue Moons Don’t Come Cheap, the story of his 2500 mile passage from Oahu to Seattle.
